Easy, scalable storage expansion

As your need for storage increases, Dot Hill provides an easy to deploy and cost effective way to extend your fibre channel, SAS or iSCSI SAN. AssuredSAN 3120C expansion units are connected via 6Gb SAS high-speed SAS connections and can be quickly deployed to add the extra storage capacity you need.

Affordable Tiered Storage

A total of seven JBOD expansion units can be added. These highly flexible expansion arrays support SAS, SATA, and SSD drives within a single chassis, allowing you the flexibility to manage tiered storage within a single system. Dot Hill storage systems offer an affordable, dynamic, flexible option for any sized enterprise.

The 3120C JBOD expansion unit can support an additional 24 2.5-inch drives and easily expands the capacity of any AssuredSAN 3000 system.

AssuredSAN JBOD arrays are controlled by the RAID controller of the primary unit and allow SAN expansion at a lower cost than a full RAID array.
